Park Free Downtown

Date: Jan 13, 2016

There is good news for visitors in downtown Allentown! City Center is offering a Park Free initiative to help you enjoy everything the Hamilton District has to offer without all the hassle of paying to park!

Using Park Free is simple and applies to most parking decks in the area.  When you enter the parking deck, take a ticket as usual.  When you make a purchase at any participating shop of restaurant, show them your parking ticket.  They will print you a second ticket which will be accepted as full payment when you leave the parking deck!

Park Free is that easy.

Participating parking decks include:

Community Deck — 13 S. 6th St.
Walnut @ 9th Deck — 901 Walnut St.
Government Deck — 401 Hamilton St.
Spiral Deck — 820 Linden St.
Arena Deck — 710 Linden St.

The Park Free initiative also allows 24-hour valet parking outside of The Renaissance Hotel, Two City Center, and ROAR Social House.  It costs $6 at all times (including during PPL Events!) with a validation from participating business.  Otherwise, it is $20 at all times without a validation.

PPL Events provide an exception to the parking garages.  Drivers will be asked to pay upon entering any Park Free garage, but you can have your parking discounted from your bill at any participating business when you show your parking receipt.
