Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies Welcome New Businesses

Downtown Allentown and the Hamilton District Main Street Program are proud to announce some new businesses to the area! Recently, Jimmy’s Barber Shop, Re:Find, and Grain have all been welcomed to downtown family with Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies.
The Mayor and representatives from various local politicians mingled with friends, family, and fans while the local business owners cut the iconic red ribbon and officially joined the downtown district.
Jimmy’s Barber Shop, located at 619 Hamilton, is the newest addition to Jimmy’s growing business. He also has a location in the West End of Allentown. This classic barber shop includes old fashioned hot towel shaves, as well as haircuts for men, women, and kids.
Re:Find is a furniture boutique known for merging home décor with art. Owner Ron Susser and Design Director Jon Clark decided to bring their unique style to 7th street, Allentown in addition to their Easton location.
Grain. is the latest culinary endeavor for the men dubbed the “Bayou Boys”. Executive Chef Tyler Baxter sits at the helm of one of Allentown’s newest culinary experiences. (They’re offering fixed, 3-course menus for Restaurant Week!) They are located at 536 West Hamilton Street.
Michael Jewelers will be celebrating their own Ribbon Cutting Ceremony TONIGHT at 5:00 p.m. Previously located in the South Mall, this elegant jewelry shop will be the latest member of the downtown family.
