Reel Queer Film Series presents A Place to Live

The Reel Queer Film Series at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center presents a free screening of A Place to Live: The Story of Triangle Square on January 23rd at 6:00pm. A talkback and dessert reception will follow.

A Place to Live follows seven gay and lesbian seniors from varying backgrounds as they attempt to secure a much sought-after place in Triangle Square, the nation’s first affordable housing community specifically for LGBT elders.

Award winner at Outfest: LA Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, this moving documentary profiles the efforts of the dedicated activists trying to address the lack of adequate LGBT senior housing, the ambitious creation of the Triangle Square project, and the vibrant, emotional stories of those hoping to make a home there.
