The Morning Call: “Allentown’s annual Blues, Brews and Barbecue festival — a guitar-picking and finger-licking feast for your ears eyes and belly — is only 101 days away, and Queen City organizers are ready to share a peek at a few headliners and special updates.
The 13th annual event is set for noon-10 p.m. Saturday, June 13 in downtown Allentown, and is spread around the 500 to 800 blocks of Hamilton Street. The free event is open to the public.
Dozens of barbecue and beer vendors will once again be serving tasty food and drinks. The 2019 lineup included smoked meats, chicken and more from over a dozen smokehouses and grills. In years past, the beer selection has typically surpassed the variety of musical acts at the celebration. With the number of pop-up stands, restaurants and brewpubs in the downtown vicinity, no one should be going home thirsty.”
